boos from the crowd

ok, I know that I will probably get boos from all of you (all one of you who read this!), but I have to say ARE YOU KIDDING ME?  I watched AI last night and David C is WAY better than David A!  That said, let me explain myself before the hysteria takes on a life of it's own.  David A is a darling young 17 year old boy with a beautiful voice, but seriously other than the swooning teeny-boppers (like the girl with the sign telling him that she needs a date for the prom - she was darling too by the way), who does he appeal to?  Maybe I'm crazy, but David C is way more marketable in today's music scene in MY opinion!  I have loved everything that he has sung this season!  He is current and mature and talented.  David A will do well - when they let him grow up AND give him some decent songs - yes, he sang 'Imagine' beautifully (is that proper english?), but that original song was horrid (of course they usually are pretty cheesy every season), but he is only 17, let him get some experience under his belt and he will be a force to reckon with.  I am not trying to bash little David, it's just that I don't think anyone - ESPECIALLY the judges- gave him a fighting chance OR credit where credit is due.  I hope David C pulls one out and surprises everyone, but when Simon tells the entire viewing world that little David has already won, what is a man to do?  That's my rant for now!!!  Over and out!!

calgon, take me away...

after being gone for the weekend and being sick all week the (the midwest special: pink eye and a head cold), I feel like I am a year behind in the laundry and no where to turn!  As I plow through it, I remember that my in laws will be in town for the 500 this weekend - aaahhh!  I need to kick this cold in the butt and get something done!  Never mind that I have 2 days to make 3 poodle skirts and I am missing a piece of big S's Amelia Earhart costume for school tomorrow - why are aviator goggles so hard to find?  We do live in civilization after all!  What does a girl have to do to catch a break?  I don't remember anything in the mommy handbook about not being allowed to be sick - must have skipped that chapter!  I think that I will go stick my head in the sand and pretend that I have nothing to do!  Now off to get dinner for the kids and grabs some snacks at the store for the softball game tonight!!

perhaps I should have called this crazy mom 3 girls

That is the question of the day almost every day for the last 7 years (since # 3 came around!) - are there 3 crazy girls or just 1 crazy mom?  My name is Gayle and I am the proud mother of 3 beautiful girls - big S, little S and little G.  We spend our lives as most families in our stage of life do, school, after school activities, never keeping up with the house, over run with pets (2 dogs, 3 cats a rabbit and a fish!).  Life is full and fun and crazy and keeps us on our toes, sometimes knocking us onto our butts!  I have several friends who have been faithful bloggers and I have decided to give it a try!  I may be recruiting Jen to help me make this thing look nice - we'll see how I do on my own first!!  I'm off now to figure out the rest of this page!!!!
